It all started with a component content management system (CCMS) called DITAToo. Initially, DITAToo was primarily targeted at technical documentation teams helping them reuse, personalize, translate, and publish content with less efforts.
We kept developing DITAToo and adding new features. We’ve even come up with some new technologies that helped you automate content assembly and content generation. We’ve also did some nice integrations with content delivery platforms, customer portals, and authoring tools. Then we’ve built a technology that analyzes text and automatically adds semantic metadata. This technology was also integrated with our own chatbot that became an additional delivery channel integrated with the DITAToo central repository. In other words, from the single content repository, you can now deliver content via multiple channels, whether it’s a chatbot, customer portal, or a good old PDF.
At some point, we’ve realized that DITAToo is now much more than a component content management system. It has become a complete solution empowered with artificial intelligence technologies that supports you through the entire content process, from content creation to reviews and approvals to translation to delivery. And of course, all traditional content management capabilities are still there.
This is how DITA A.I. was born. It’s now an ecosystem that includes multiple components which may be combined in many different ways to make DITA A.I. to fit your specific needs.
